Hu Yuepeng, born in Jinzhou, Liaoning in 1966, is a professional painter, artist, and curator. In the 1990s, Hu Yuepeng once lived in the village of the Yuanmingyuan Park. He stayed in Songzhuang Painter Village in 2005 and served as the editor-in-chief of the painter village network. He then served as the executive director of the Shanghai Art Museum and the editor-in-chief of Songzhuang ART. He has held art exhibitions such as “Near History”, “Mangosteen Style”, “Made in Songzhuang”, “Female Art in Songzhuang”, “Merdist” and “Catcher” and other art exhibitions.
