蕭世瓊 Xiao Shi Qiong

Xiao Shiqiong, born in Budai, Jiayi in 1959, studied at the Department of Chinese Literature of National Taiwan Normal University, the Graduate School of Chinese Literature of National Taiwan Normal University, and the Ph.D. of the Institute of Chinese Studies of Feng Chia University, Chairman of Taiwan Art Exhibition Writers Association, etc. In the past, he was a lecturer in the Chinese Department of Feng Chia University, a lecturer in the Fine Arts Department of Taiwan Normal University, and an assistant professor at the Institute of Language Education, Taichung University of Education.

Xiao Shiqiong learned from Chen Dingqi, Zhao Yinong, Du Zhonggao, and Wang Zhongzhong. The basic thinking of calligraphy creation is “seeking change”, hoping that the lines and structures of words can show more possibilities. His works are often favored by the industry, and he has won the first prize of calligraphy at the Taiwan Provincial Art Exhibition three times, Wu Sanlian Award, Zhongshan Literature and Art Award, Dadun Award, Nanying Award, Ministry of Education Cultural and Creative Creation Award, Literature and Art Award, Qingxi Golden Circle Award And so on, it has also held traveling exhibitions in many cities in Taiwan. In addition, Xiao Shiqiong has published “Research on Mawangdui Silk Calligraphy”, “Tang Dynasty Dunhuang Chronicle and Its Calligraphy Culture”, “Xiao Shiqiong’s First Exhibition of Calligraphy”, “A Kind of Feeling – Xiao Shiqiong’s Calligraphy Exhibition”, “An Attempt – Xiao Shiqiong’s Calligraphy Creation Exhibition” ” and other works.
