Zhong Rurong, born in Shiwan, Foshan in 1956, studied at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts for postgraduate studies in the Department of Sculpture and the Department of Chinese Painting. He started his own pottery studio in 1988. He is a master of Chinese arts and crafts, a master of Chinese ceramic art, a Chinese painter, etc. The provincial representative inheritor of the material cultural heritage project “Shiwan Pottery Sculpture Skills”. He has successively held personal ceramic art exhibitions, calligraphy and painting exhibitions in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, the United States, and other places, and his works have been collected by Zibo Ceramics Museum, Guangdong Provincial Museum, Shiwan Ceramics Museum, National Art Museum of China, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, etc., and published monographs such as “Zhong Rurong Pottery Sculpture Collection”, “Zhong Rurong’s Painting Zhong Kui Chinese Painting Collection”, “Shiwan Good Pottery – Foshan “Shiwan Doll” and other monographs.
